Highlights of the WORK2021 Conference

Check out the detailed programme of each WORK2021 conference:

WORK I

18-19 August

WORK II

13-14 October

WORK III

8-9 December

This year, under the theme of WORK BEYOND CRISES, the WORK2021 conference addresses the contemporary transformations and reconfigurations of work. These transformations are related, among other things to digitalization and changing work relations, stirred by the current pandemics.

This year the WORK2021 conference offers three virtual conferences that analyze various aspects of the transformation of work amid and beyond the current COVID-19 crisis. The streams cover topics such as reorganization of work in societies and economies, reconfigurations of paid employment, psychological well-being and stress, education and employment, technological shake-ups, digital society and gendered work, digital (in)visibility and fairness, and the new types of employment relations, to mention just some of topics explored in 16 streams in three conferences.

With the three virtual conferences, we hope to create a more relaxed virtual space to explore the topics and themes in several streams.
